Default Monday April 17th

I am going to come down for a visit Monday. Would be nice to meet any of you current students and CFI's. I am NOT looking for a new or different school. I need some Class B exposure and there seem to be several JCers there, so I figured I would visit for a bit.

Let me know if you are going to be around tommorow. Say Noon time.

DFW Class B isn't that bad. Just don't get too close to DFW or DAL and be on top of your radio calls. It's busy, but not unmanageable.

It doesn't hurt that DFW conrollers are some terrific folks! Very helpful people.

It's one of those new fancy-schmancy transponders... either that or the controller is trying to slip you his phone number!

He is sweet on you Frog.

I might make it down this week still. Today I was going to do the MCI thing, but we had 1000 foot overcast at MCI, so I went to some local dumps instead. I will try MCI again tommorow.
