Default Some LSA time

I thought that I'd put some pictures up of my light sport flying this weekend. I know not everyone around here is a big fan of these airplanes, but I'll say, they are a blast to fly. Sorry for the low quality pictures, stole them from my passenger's facebook. Its too hard to fly and take pictures. I've got a panel shot, and just a couple in general. Nothing real fancy, just enough to give people an idea of the plane.

The CT-SW is an amazing airplane. With the flaps reflexed up to -6, I was getting about 115 KIAS on roughly 5 GPH (Mogas). Nothing like keeping up with a 172, on 1/2 the fuel.

Awesome pics. I myself got to fly a Remos G3. Looks similar to a CT. Its a lot of fun flying those LSA's.

The Remos G3/GX is about the same. I've flown both, and I can say the Remos is much, much easier to land. Something about 40 degree's of flaps, with drooping ailerons, makes the CT hard to land. Add to that a goofy site-picture (compared to Cessna/Piper products) and its real hard to land.

The CT is a fun little airplane to fly. I have about 40 hrs in a CTLS.

Nice shots!

the ctsw is a cool airplane. Out flight school had one, then we upgraded to the CTLS which flies a bit different. The ctsw doesn't fly like a regular airplane IMO. Cool and fun airplane though.

I would agree 100%. Apparently, somebody messed this one up this spring. Lots of prop strikes/land gear collapse's with the CT-SW, or so I'm told. The good news about a Rotax, is prop strikes don't automatically mean a tear-down, if the gearbox works properly.
