You guys rock! I just KNEW you and Kristie weren't as nerdy as you appeared to be-- I expected, like, Air Supply or Earth Wind and Fire...(ha ha- just kidding). I'm fully immersed in flight training now, so I've been out of the loop-- is Hagar back w/ the band or not? let me throw in my compliments-- nice job w/ the Pictures from the Road stuff. It's quite interesting, albeit a little depressing to see the various clock radio pictures... |

Welcome to the world of generic layovers, early 'get ups' and cranky crewmembers! On the music issue, I'm not really a "Van Hagar" fan, I usually skip past it for the Diamond Dave stuff! |

I have a pretty neat double CD of Dave stuff on one CD and Sammy stuff on another. It's basically something I threw together as a "backup copy."

Ahhh, it's officially 5150 time!!!! I'm seeing these guys in ATL this friday. I saw them twice on the Balance tour and now once on this tour. Can't get enough. Are we going to see a VH sticker on your flight kit? |

I've got an eclectic love of music. EW&F is a great group! I like listening to the Commodores and some of the old Motown groups. When I'm in a rock mood, VanHalen (w/Sammy Hagar over Dave) and Journey are my preferences. |

I know the VH tour is over with, but I saw them in Houston and Dallas, and these guys still put on 1 hell of a show. Eddie is still "DA MAN"! Anyways, I've often heard stories about the 1st gulf war, and the pilots going into IRAQ would jam Van Halen during the mission, and come home listening to country, to chill out. Any of you military guys do this? Mike D? Hmm, well did cha??? ![]() Thought it was a cool story tho! |
