| Re: Illiamna Douglas Flyin The DC-3 is a hell of an airplane. I would love to be able to fly it, but I'm affraid they are nearing extinction.  My uncle flew a DC-3 for 15 years and said it was the best time in his aviation career, but also the most nerve racking.
