Not as much as you would if you were flying, but yeah.

That's cool. But you could be on reserve for weeks, right? Maybe even months?

Maybe even years. Pay is 75 hours per month, or whatever you fly above that.

Yeah, it would be great to get paid to sit around, no matter how crappy it is, or how crappy people think it is. It's better than working at a damn grocery store for over two and a half years and still getting paid only seven dollars an hour!

Nice Ru.

I wish our gas prices were that low

I had to fill up my moped yesterday and it cost me 6.00! I used to be able to pay in quarters!

Something don't add up, Joe. Prosciutto and mozerella, $4.00 gas, decent beer on F/O pay? Give me a break.

Nice work here.

That's cause I have a 2nd job :-p

I got to do some flying today. Had all the intentions of taking pictures and doing an actually day in the life post, but between the captain showing up 15 mins before push and getting to play pinball between storms, I was a little busy. The way back was really fun!

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/A...115Z/KPHF/KATL

"Acey 4186, hold as published over SINCA, EFC 55 after the hour"
"umm....there's a cell over SINCA"
"Early turns approved"

so basically I just flew oblong circles with the heading bug for 20 mins.

The only expensive thing, if you know where to shop, is the gasoline.

I loves me some prosciutto. Oh man, even better, a nice Spanish Rioja, some Jamon Iberico and some manchego cheese, daaaaaYUM!

They actually have a decent Santa Maria Tri-Tip if you're into that. I'm not sure if it's available outside of the southwest though.

Not really sure what that is, but it sounds good. And which section of the store should I be looking for this in?

The "meat" section. I'm trying to think how to describe it but anyone from the central coast region of CA swears by it.

I just googled it and it looks spectacular. I'll keep an eye out for it next time. 45 min drive from where I live to the closest trader joes, but completely worth it. Good food, without a bunch of damn chemicals in it, for really cheap. And when you get "Italian Pasta" you look on the back and its actually from Italy, not some processing plant near Seggy's house in New Jersey.
