| Agent Smith | If you think you got a lot of grub before over the Atlantic, here's a "partial" crew meal which didn't involve the fruit/cheese course or dessert. Think ER and 777 guys might have packed on some weight before, just you wait! ![]() First Course: ![]() Clockwise from top left: Caprese salad, asparagus soup, proscuitto and a crab salad, butter, carmelized onion over hummus and veggies. Second Course: ![]() Yardbird with a red wine reduction, gnocci and green beans. No, I don't eat all this food. A LOT of guys do, surprisingly.

| Old Skool | Damn, I thought we had it good with lobster, shrimp and cheese that the passengers never touch.

| There's always the extra pack of oatmeal from the hotel's continental breakfast, microwaved in the crew room. |

| Yeah? Well, do you get an entire bottle of water and an entire bag of free pretzels with that like we do? I am going to miss them when we get furloughed................... ![]() (about the water and pretzels)

| Doug, do you guys get the first class meals, or are they specially ordered crew meals? |
| | |

| Junior Member | The portions really don't look that big but after all it is a picture. Are crew members allowed to have seconds if their still hungry. |

| Agent Smith | Contract says basically, the highest class of meal on the flight.

During boarding/after takeoff, there's hot nuts they give you. In flight, there's a tray like you saw before. Then there's also an optional fruit and cheese plate or an ice cream sundae (or both if you're so inclined). Before landing, there's a hot breakfast (usually an omelet and breakfast meats, fruit, pastries, etc). Now if you're still hungry or you've actually ate all that, something ain't right! Westbound, it's pretty much the same thing except for instead of a hot breakfast, there's a snack like a hamburger, shrimp quesadilla or chicken salad or something like that. It's impossible to go hungry. And no I don't eat even 25% of what's thrown at me!

This was exactly what I ate today on LHR to ATL.... Only mine was without the caprese salad.....which I wanted............and served with a touch of Atlanta-tude. You shoulda seen the little new hire Japanese speaker hottie we had too. She came up the cockpit on her break to escape the senior mamas. Man, she was smoking hot...............so hot that she.........um.........made me appreciate........uh........beautiful women.....like my wife........yeah, that's it. | |

| Agent Smith | Ham on whole wheat, baby! The hummus was tasty as hell, I was pleasantly surprised! You know, the caprese was tasty too. I'm surprised they took this route because decent tomatoes are highly seasonal and it's hard finding a good, consistent basil. Geez, here I am snobbishly talking about crew meals, I HAVE gone to the dark side! ![]()

| Agent Smith | It's always creepy when the male flight attendants call after takeoff and say, "I've got your hot nuts at the door". "Eww! Could you put that a little differently?"
