| Newbie | So the forcast last night said smooth sailing today but when I checked the radar this morning before I departed I was plesently surprised. St. Louis was just about to get bombarded with t-storms! Not wanting to get 'told' to get in my plane from my dispatcher, I climbed in and headed off. Luckily for me my company is installing 396's in the planes and I got one of them. So I started diverting near Columbia, MO and went south and came in that way. Anyways I got my camera phone out and snapped a photo as I started my final descent into KCPS. Sorry for the quality but it's the best I could do. ![]() BTW, I was holding that speed until I was about 3 miles out... true to the nature of flying frieght. |
