| Agent Smith | Ok, I didn't bust out the camera too much but here goes: Welcome to Brazil! Wandering around the street of Sao Paolo before meeting up with the rest of the crew: The next day, massive amounts of rain. You figure this city might have been a jungle hundreds of years ago? ![]() Statue! Some gemstones the captain was looking at. He makes jewelry in Ft. Collins, CO: Well, it's more of a picture of the gemstones, but children, can we say "Hey! That's SALESMANSHIP! Hoo hooo!" The regular cheeseball photo of me eating... It's steak with some peppercorn sauce, caprese salad, proscuitto and some other junk, I dunno.

| Agent Smith | Nah, that's the COSTCO special! Nice zipup which makes it nice 'n comfy.I'm always cold, I'm an old man so I just throw on a sweater after climbout so I don't have to constantly tweak the CKPT TEMP rheostat.

| Old Skool | Is the flight a redeye in both directions? So you have a 35 hour layover? At CAL it is and they have a 11 hour "day layover". Over 19 hours block in 33 hours TAFB. Not a bad deal for some. Lots of coin, and a cheap layover. Dad hated them though. Rather have a 24 hour layover in FCO, ATH or HNL, and not feel totally dead for 2 days. Doesn't have to worry about any of those decisions now. He's lucky to make it past the British Isles now that he upgraded. Although he has made it to Athens twice as a Cappy, once he was the most junior pilot (both FOs were senior to him on the company list).

It's like this: Flight 121 JFK 2210 GRU 0930 BLK 10.20 Flight 120 GRU 2105 JFK 0610 BLK 10.05 33.35 layover I liked the layover, but I spent A LOT of money compared to other layovers. Between pre-dinner cocktails, dinner and a couple trips to the "Tree House", I think we all did our part for the local economy. The bad thing about South America... Well, when I get back from Europe in the early afternoon, I'll take a shower in the Biz Elite lounge, sleep on the flight home to PHX and I'll be fully recovered the next day. But I got in from GRU, didn't sleep on the flight home and totally crashed out when I got home for like six hours. It might be at least a two-day recovery for me. ATH is pretty senior in JFK too, but I can generally get it when I want it because JFK is very junior. What's going to go senior I think is some of the new flying next month. I'll betchya Malaga, Cairo and Amman (Oman?) will go senior. But so far, the most senior things in base are TLV and KBP. I can hold both but I've also got almost 11 years too.

| Old Skool | Amman is the capital of Jordan Oman is a country to the south of Saudi Arabia Your choice ![]() If the girls that I met from Malaga in London are any indication, Malaga will be a popular overnight. Once the novelty of gorgeous girls, and drinks on the beach wear off, you'll probably be able to get it. Then again I don't think that would ever wear off. Malaga is one of the few reasons I wish I was still slinging bags.

The problem is, I became very lazy when I got married so I've been trying to work on that some. Hard to keep a sense of style when I spent years on the mad dog flying with guys that wear tan chinos, running shoes and a duck head golf shirt! ![]()

If Max was with me, I'm sure he'd let ya know. The people (male and female) all are more fit over in Europe. A '6' in Dublin would be a '9.5' here in Maine. Where ever you go I bet you wont be disappointed.
