Default Trip to Japan

Took a trip to Japan to visit my ailing father-n-law, but, while there, we were able to sneak away to the hot springs which is run old school, that was kind of fun.

Here is the eating area where we had our traditional Japanese meals

Speaking of perfect timing, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom

This was the ultimate bidet, it washed, squirted, temperature control & the angle of the water could be adjusted for a maximum cleanse.

The little things in life, I thought this machine was cool, it was an automatic cotton candy machine & yes, I was the only adult using it.

This is for Max, this is called King Tama, I took the liberty of copping a feel for you!

Shower room

And the bathtub, which by the way, was great, though the photo may not do it justice.

Awesome photos! sorry to hear your FIL isn't doing well. Good thing you two were able to get over there and visit though, i bet that was really nice for Mrs. Pengy.

So, uh, was there a shower head in the shower room? i didn't see one....

Did you stay at your in laws house or is that a hotel room? and i take it the tub is one of the famous Japanese soaker tubs i keep hearing everyone should get?

Kristie

All of the photos were from the hotel room & you were right, this hotel did not have a shower head in the shower room, I forgot that we took a shower downstairs after a soak.

Those Japanese soaker tubs are the bomb, water comes up to your neck, which is good, as the mornings are cold, most Japanese houses do not have good insulation or central heating.

Also, I forgot to post this photo, as soon as you enter the hotel, shoes come off & everybody gets slippers.

Hi Mike! Sorry to hear about your father in law. The pics are great, though. Everything looks sooo clean and well-maintained. The tub seems fabu!

Your shoes are checked in, so, you have to give the dude your name to get your shoes back.

Besides Kristie, no Japanese girl is gonna to be able to fit into your "big feet" shoes
