This is NOT a separate urinal and pooper, fellow Americans:

The Spanish steps, walking back to the hotel:

The Colosseum:

Yes, that's an M-16 with laser-sight at the airport. The Romans don't mess around after the 1985 terrorist attack.

The Italians always take care of the captain:

80 tomorrow. I did 149 today!

Very strange flight today. I got up from my break and when I pulled the curtain back, there was a lady sitting on another ladies lap smooching. Kind of bizarre, ya know?

I didn't gawk. Actually more concerned about trying to reboot my brain as we were about 30 mins out, I slept like a baby and I'm usually extraordinarily "dopey" after a nap.

"Aroo?! Is that us? What's our flight number? F N A it's bright! Was that for us? What did he say? ArroOOooOO!!?"

I'm surprised that took all of 3 posts and 5 minutes!
I've seen my share of "female affection" on my flights. For some reason, PIT seems to be the winner when it comes to this. Something in the water perhaps? BTW, these girls are probably big Pittsburgh Steeler fans. Need I say more?

Nope, I'm at the Legendary, World's Famous "Sunrise Resort and (no)Casino" in Beautiful Long Island, between trips.

"L.I. Finest Hotel" says it all.

Did you have to use my name, Doug? Ever since Saturday Night Live, I've hated my nickname. That's why I went back to using my full name!

Amsterdam rocks!

Rome has a lot of history, but jeeze they need to clean it up a bit. Graffiti and trash go a long way toward spoiling the historic beauty.

Rome has some sights that must be seen, but central and northern Italy are really where it's at for me.

Great pics! I need to make it to Rome someday, I visited Tuscany on the Med. near Pisa. Soooo many places to go see... I don't think I ever drank a beer in Italy, the vino never stopped pouring though. I haven't drank wine like that since.
