Great pix, however does anyone have a clearer pic of a radar screen. Id love to see that. Never been in a tower but always wanted to go.

I wondered how they knew i was doin steep spirals on an ifr fight plan

also how can they let traffic buzz by u w/o saying a word sometimes on flight following? i guess everybody equip isnt as good as atl huh?

yeah, it sucks. Long taxi (most of it done waiting to cross two other runways) with multiple freq changes.

Really? Shouldn't just one frequency for ground suffice--or are the traffic volumes too much for one ground frequency?

YOU GUYS (I mean DELTA, if your not Delta sorry) WANTED THIS RWY 10 Piece of #### so I have NO sympathy. Kinda like when you check on and I tell you RWY 10 and all I hear is a groan from the cockpit. I didn't ask for RWY 10 to be built and I hate it just as much as most. What I like to say is "This used to be a nice little airport and approach control until RWY 10 was built, now it's outta control."

Fly an extra 3-5 miles on downwind or land RWY 10 and wait twenty minutes to get to your gate.

Here's how it works. Tower freq for landing on 10/28, ground to get from 10/28 to 9R/27L, Tower to cross 9R/27L then another tower to cross 9L/27R, then ground.

Oh I hear ya. I'm not Delta per se, but most of the people in my airplane aren't aware of this. I do have to give you guys props though. I'm amazed when watching TCAS how perfectly spaced you guys get everyone heading into ATL. Its like watching ants into an ant hill.

Ha, sounds like freaking DFW. I hate going into/departing from there and getting the Texas tour of the freaking airport!
