that is the airplane i have flown the most. have over 200 hours in it!

| Junior Member | If I am correct, i think your referring to the primer which is the silver knob located under the 3 gear lights, that actual gear level is black and immediately to the right of the primer.

Nah, I just didn't think Cadets have retractable gear... so why's there a gear handle...?

Yup the silver knob is the primer, as for the gear lever; the plane used to be UND's (from what I was told) and the knob and lights for the gear are there for training purposes. It is not connected to anything and it is there only for flows and getting in the habit to lowering/raising the gear. Would have been awesome if it actually worked, would have improved our 85kt ground speed. |
