I'd love to know:

1. How old that guy is;

2. How did he finance that trip;

3. Why didn't he invite me?

Not gonna go there......

If you pick up the latest copy of Air & Space there's an article about a Super Cub instructor named Loni Somethingorother...... This guy is mentioned in the article as a student. Good article too....

That turbine Otter is based in Palmer. It is awesome to watch take off, it certainly doesnt lack in performance.

I'm pretty sure that Otter is on pg. 91 of the new (APR '08) AOPA Pilot too.

There is some video on youtube of this guy. Search for cubdriver and you will see some crazy cool and amazing piloting skills.

Loni has a video called Alaska Cubdriver749ER. Shaun Lunt appears in the video since he was one of Loni's students.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you're looking at the air intake.

admittedly I am not by any means and expert on the PA-18 - that just didn't look like a normal air intake and yeah thats where the air intake is on a super cub and if that isn't the intake than it would be blocking it. Is that a mod to keep stuff out or what - it just doesn't look normal...
