Default The Delta Spirit

The koolaid was flowing freely, but it sure is a pretty airplane. The lie flat seats/beds look interesting too. Staplegun will have to give us a debrief after he gets a chance to fly it.

Is that an older 777-200ER renamed the Delta Spirit, or is that DL's first 777LR?

That is ship 1701, the new 777-200LR. I've never seen a cleaner airplane and I've flown brand new RJs straight from Montreal.

Don't you mean one-third of the engine height? If he were one-third of the engine size, he would be a pretty big kid!

Continental has a couple I believe. I'm named after a particular America West airplane.

I snuck away from work to take some pics as well....BEAUTIFUL airplane. I agree the koolaid was floating around like no other! I was half way expecting a Northwest A330 to be hiding somewhere at TechOps and the announcement of 10 percent of us going bye bye Interesting to note they are having hydraulic leaks on the main struts...doesn't sound too promising hehe...anyways I say give it 2-3 turns in JFK and someone will back a truck into it, and I'll be getting repairs out for it. Enjoy the pics guys!

Hard to believe this thing is as wide as a 737!

...back that a** up

...I can definitely see myself in there for 16 hrs

lastly....my artsy engine picture I am proud of this one ...

That's no problem. The large pictures of the GE-90 seem appropriate!

If you are using Photobucket, right above each photo in your album, there is a link called "EDIT." Click on that and then resize them.

And three for the blackmarker ranger to start marking it out. Or is that just a 757 thing?

I've seen a little on the 767. I've only flown four 75's so I really have no idea.

I gotta admit, some of the writings are rather funny. We seem to have several frustrated poet wannabes flying around.

I can't believe people ask you that stuff! People are weird and don't think before they ask questions.

Some of the writing is hilarious! Heck, there's even someone posting URLs to "interesting web sites" too... I don't want to give out the actual URL but something about a couple of ladies and a cup. Ick.

People are weird. How about when they feel that it's OK to touch a prgnant woman's belly, even if they don't know the person?

Alec,
I saw you over there taking pics but there were so many people that I couldnt get over there to say hi. The spirit is a nice looking bird!

Right now the airplane is going to all of the 777 destinations.
