Default Interesting Clouds

So I decided to be like Doug and start taking pictures of places I go, but seeing I fly domestic, some of the places really blow. However, we did cross this line of clouds, and we both agreed we had never seen anything like this before.

Hmm.. Can't seem to get the pictures to work. Stand by.....

Edit...
Hope this works.

Great pictures! What type of cloud formation is that? Are those oddly shaped CBs?

hey man, hope you don't mind but i sent these pics to my meteorology professor. I'll make sure you get credit for them if he happens to show them in our class. Out of curiosity what was your location?

It's hard to tell from the picture, but we were just west of OKC heading east. The clouds were on a N/S axis with the winds out of the south at 85kts

Those clouds look awesome! I saw some pretty interesting cloud formations last week from the ground, but they were more of the stratocirrus variety.

By the way, is there any way that you could make your picture of the EADI and EHSI larger, so that I can see all the detail.

Cool pictures Cptnchia. Weird that those clouds weren't even that close to the rockies.

How do you make the pictures appear in the post full-size?

Oh okay, they are hosted elsewhere. I thought they were attachments on this forum and still could be shown large size.

Your avatar is great. Everyone's seen pictures of adults in front of those engines but wow that exaggerates it even more!

Check this one out. Also, see if you can find Waldo in the picture.

I've only found him if your son's name is Waldo!

Otherwise no, and I don't see the cane, the scroll, the sock, the shoe, or the glasses either.

I don't suppose you could make THAT one bigger, too, eh? Specifically, the top right? haha
