That was a thick layer for a fun approach.

You can kind of start to see the ground.

Off the coast of Ft. Lauderdale. All the tankers waiting to get into Port Everglades.

1 Alpha heading back home to KPMP.

Just thought it was cool to see our shadow in the clouds.

The WX was not the greatest that day but Kennedy Space Center is in the distance. If you look close enough you will see it.

I hated skool.

Everyone trying to get out.

Cool shadow over the water.

That sure was a fun one. We were in the soup for a long time too. My friend was able to snap these quick pictures. I have a video from it but I really don't want to set up an account on youtube just to post it.

Go inland to the NW of where he was flying and all you get are sugar cane fields and the everglades. Pretty boring

Still sounds better then here. You have to fly 200 miles east to see anything worthwhile. Everglades sound nice.

You have to love flying in FL! I am convinced it is THE most beautiful place to fly in the States (at least the top 5).

I did my training and got most of my hours in New Smyrna and Fort Pierce. The cross countries to Key West cannot be beat.
