| A few pics from the last month the Ventura, CA area. The aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan was parked offshore from Santa Barbara, giving its crew a liberty call. One pic I didn't get was Harrison Ford taking off in his Bell 407 just a hundred yards from me. ![]() ![]() NAWS Point Mugu: ![]() Looking east toward Malibu and Los Angeles: ![]() ![]() The Channel Islands: ![]() "Traffic in sight"; an E-2C Hawkeye: ![]() ![]() The Reagan: ![]() Santa Barbara harbor: ![]()

| Sweet! Thanks for sharing. To bad it didn't work out with Mr. Ford.

| I would have ran away from Harrison Ford flying - how many times has he banged it in? Once in the helicopter and once in the Seneca I know off. |

| Agent Smith | Very nice! I miss California... But then April 15th rolls around and I don't miss it so much!

| Then comes July & August 15, and 75 degrees at the beach doesn't sound so bad! CA has pretty reasonable income taxes relative to say, Utah. What are Arizona's like?

| Agent Smith | AZ's not too bad. Low state and property tax in SDL is very low.

| Well, then there's the actual work flying. All the stuff that's not neat little straight rows is generally either a re-intercept on the shooting line after missing the entry gate (wind can make this tricky), or time spent troubleshooting/resolving computer problems (a regular occurrence): ![]()

| Nice pics, thanks for the share. My fave is the 'work' pic - neat stuff. Do the colors indicate a different days work? |
