someday when you become a real pilot you can look back at these pics and see what you had to endure to fly a jet

So now I ask. What's more pulse pounding, flying around a Chinook in a combat zone or single-pilot IFR at night?

I was all excited to see some pix of actual freight. Man I miss those boxes and bags and specialty AG products.

Great pics though

Depends on the night!

But I think combat zone has to win that contest - although freight flying has had a moment or two.

I can get some pictures of bank boxes and lab rats next week if you want.

Awesome pics BTW

Nice pics, Ian.

Guess I need to start taking my camera with me every night. I've already missed some great photo opportunities

I noticed some of the pics are from the right seat...I gather SIC snapping the pics while you are flying?

My guess is they were the SIC's leg, and that's Ian in the right seat taking pics. I wouldn't trust an SIC with my camera, duh!!!

Didn't think about that possibility. I guess in a Baron (especially one with a throwover yoke) it is better to put the SIC in the left seat than swap the yoke in flight. Guess I am too familiar with dual controls and the SIC always being in the right seat...

Not to mention today really hasn't been my day

No SIC when I took those - I was just leaning over. Baron is pretty small inside.

Dark?? Heck, I was thinking those last two were awful bright! But then again, I have a whopping 2.7 hours of day flying in the past 5 months.

Ian...thanks for the clarification. Guess I have been having one of those days

A freight pilot flying all by his lonesome...that would never happen in a million years!

Come to B-ham on new years eve and you'll get shot at just like in a combat zone. So technically if you combine the two it should be ultimate pulse pounding ride ever right?
