Default Frankfurt in November

I'm starting to really enjoy FRA. Good food, friendly people and tasty adult beverages.

Pix aren't in any particular order because I'm lazy this evening:

Snipers! Nah, just friendly spotters at the terminal in FRA

Fooooood.

Cool Malaysia livery:

Hurry up and push, you lousy rats, we've got naps, steins and frauliens to tend to!

A little drizzly out in Weisbaden:

Attempt at an "art shot":

Just to show Chicaga and WindyCity what time it is. Those two guys were out in ORD bragging about drinking German beer. This is how I roll, dog!

Somewhere over Gander:

Arrival into JFK:

You might want a refund on the time spent watching this, but I thought it was a little entertaining when I drop the camera and answer the radio:

Frankfurt is great. If you want some good Apfelwein and jazz you should check out "The Jazz Keller" near downtown.

That place is still open after all these years?!?!?! Wow! It's been at least 10/15 years since I visited that place.

Yup.

I take along one of these:

..which makes it ultra portable, slips into my pocket without it making me look like I'm excited in a low-resolution sort of way and does an overall great job for a point 'n shoot camera.

However, it doesn't have the best sound capturing.

There's probably better cameras out there, but it's completely and smoothly rectangular which doesn't snag, fast and when I inevitably leave it on a layover in East Durkistan, it's not going to be a budget buster to replace.

Lloyd and I got a drunk dial from Windycity as well on Friday night, while we we getting our drink on. I took Lloyd to check out that Irish pub I told you about (which you claimed was Bennigans) The offer still stand anytime you breeze through CVG again.

Windy and Chicaga were texting me, bragging about drinking German beers downtown and I was like "Fool! I'm HEADING to Germany now!"

The ER rocks. Best freaking thing since sliced bread and frozen concentrated orange juice.

I agree with you Doug...I would have much rather been flying to Germany and drank there. But I guess drinking a few liters of Hofbrau in Chicago is better than nothing!

LOL, geez doug. Those Zorro masks on your Captain and fellow FO leave them beyond recognition!

Good thing about Delta is you can hide the "uhhhhh" while you're recalling your flight number.

"Deltuhhh 107"

Doesn't work quite right for anyone else. Well, maybe "cactuhhhhhs"

Cool pics for sure. Hooray beer!

PS, I called ya about an hour ago. Teh phone was off. Ya still over in the homeland*?

.... I'm trying to get an oil price ticker in my signature....

The Canon SD cameras are great point-n-shoots. I lug around my Canon 350D (DSLR) with my three different lenses wherever I go. I also bring the Canon A70 (point-n-shoot) if I need to take digital videos. Some people are even worse though... they bring a much larger lens arsenal with accessories wherever they go. You never know when you might have an opportunity for a million dollar shot!
