Default New Pilot Rest Facility

And believe you me, it's a lot nicer than the Biz Elite seat with the "sponge bob" thing.

Very nice!

Where in the airplane is that? I know in the 777 there's one up above everybody, but I don't know if there's room for that on the 767.

Capacity one person per bunk? Just another example of a placard that invites INC (Intentional Non-Compliance)!

I can't wait to see the inevitable memos about use of the rest facility concerning an intentionally vague event.

I'd actually like if they had one of the AVOD screens in there so I can keep up with my traditional episode of "Scrubs" before my nap.

Someone at techops told me that they opted not to put PTVs in the crew rest area (or they took them out if they had them before) because crews were just watching TV and not resting or some such. Sounds silly in my opinion lol....looks like you can have a lot of fun in those bunks jk!!

That's what I would think....it's their form of big brother looking out for you perhaps haha. I've been on a few flights where the pilot or co pilot come out for crew rest and we just talked the entire flight. Nice guys....you people up front are ;-)

If you look real close in the clip where the cameraman turns past the mirror, you might get a glimpse of someone familiar!

So, i'm curious as to why the emphasis on the capacity?

the fact that it's actually needed or just cuz it's there like the terms and conditions on hot mcdonalds coffee cups?! hahahaha

and what was the thing in the corner? O2 tanks? it was kinda hard to see.

Kind of their way of saying, "Umm, one person per bunk means ONE PERSON PER BUNK, so don't try any hank panky! " I dunno, I thought it was funny.

If what you're looking at is red, it's a fire extinguisher near the box, which is a PBE. Every halon fire extinguisher is by a PBE (portable breathing apparatus) on the aircraft so you don't asphyxiate yourself as you're putting out the fire.

If it's in the closet, those are rolled up sheets. One set of sheets, a blanket and a pillow for each pilot. Besides, I don't know where skipper has been so I'm more than happy to use fresh sheets, pillow and blanket.

If they let 2 use the bunk, they could cut the laundry bill in half
