Default Alaska Cruise Pics

A few pics from Alaska.

Ketchikan Airport - tower is lower than runway
Skagway Airport (only view of runway...)
Some floating Kryptonite
Few seaplane shots
Little turbines on top of the ship (can I attach them to a 152?)
Few nature shots
My better half contemplating as we left Vancouver.

Nice pictures Glad to see it wasnt raining. It seems to do that alot around here, especially Ketchikan.

In Skagway did you see the Twotters? The like to come over here and fly low over the town. The approach and departure if taking off up the valley is really interesting. You better know your steep turns before going in

Yeah...saw the planes flying over the town. My wife and I walked (I dragged her) to the airport from the ship and stood out by 2/20 for a while. Not a ton of activity, but fun none the less.

We got lucky all week and only had rain when we got off the ship in Whittier.

Not unless she's prophetic..the picture was taken on day 1.

I think the true contemplation was that she already was missing our son whom we left with the in-laws for the week..

You know all women are prophetic. That how us men get busted all the time......I am sure she was thinking of your son also....mine is that way when the kids are gone for even a day or two
