From the first pic, it looks like the Beech as an A/P. Am I wrong?

Huh, then what is the instrument's purpose that is above the AI?

Just curious...

It is a top of the line Flight Director straight from 1980s technology.

No autopilot on the Beech 19hondys, if you are tired you have the FO fly.

Ahh, 901SK. I've got more than plenty of time flying that one! Good to see she's still in one piece.

VOR RMI HSI GPS ILS JFK

I wonder how many 3-letter words there are in aviation?

Not that many overall, and none in your first sentence.

Lots of acronyms though.

Those buttons are for the flight director. I could see how someone would think that though!

Because you often see a button labeled "AP" in there. Not on our planes though!

I think we're down to 7. Word is, the next one going to C-check won't be coming back

On your window picture it looks like you have the window heat on high. Well atleast that is what it looks like in the King Air 350 when you turn it on high. It forcuses the energy to the middle of the window in case of severe icing. Great shots.

On the Beech it's the inner 2/3 when set on high. I think we were IMC for like 10 seconds or something that day. Probably left the heat on normal.
