Default My new home airstrip

I'm working here as a contracted CFI for the next nine months. Word has it this is the nicest grass strip in Pennsylvania. PA92 is the identifier.

This is a private field, but shoot me a PM and I'd be happy to let fellow JCers come in.

I love this place. My only question is, when will the haze dissappear? I'm used to flying in a desert with 50+ miles visibility!

Looks like you had a decent horizon in that last pic!

On the contrary my friend, we had over two weeks of MVFR and sometimes even IFR conditions due to an aweful smog from forest fires.

Cold front came in last week though, been super clear, cool, crisp, and slightly rainy ever since. Thank God fall is here! Summertime in the west sucks. Too hot and too many fires. Have to dodge about 25 TFR's to go anywhere.
