| Senior Member | My instructor called me yesterday and ask if I wanted to go along with him and a instrument student to Deerpark, TN to check out the students new house and hangar thats getting built, the weather was rainy the whole way but it cleared up a little in Tn so I got a couple nice pics, Leaving Middletown, ![]() ![]() Over Northern Kentucky at about 7,000 ![]() ![]() We stopped at Campbell County Airport to get some gas so we didn't have to stop on the way back, here we are on final, ![]() ![]() I was gettin some uh.. gas gettin gettin some... lol ![]() ![]() Its only a 6nm trip to Deerfield park, ![]() Maaan, this airport was deep in the country, on top on a hill! ![]() We spent about 45 mins in deerfield park, pretty nice place.. ![]() ![]() ![]() The weather was VFR untill we got to LOZ so I got do do some flying, not much tho only about 30~ minutes, ![]() This is about when I stoped flying and my CFI flew to thru the IFR, it was IFR til we got to Middletown, it cleared up so I did the approach and landing, ![]() It was a fun trip, but them 172 seats are hard man, it was a relief to stand up after that 2.5 hr flight lemme tell ya!! |

| Looks like you got a good instructor I'll bet he's a gold seal. It's a good deal when an instructor takes somebody along. It's the best way to learn and get some extra experience. ![]()
