Here are some pics from yesterday...a lot of very nice aircraft on the Daytona ramps.

Wow, I guess they take that NASCAR Air Force stuff seriously with the F-16's and C-17...

Nice pics, BTW.

I got lucky enough to have him for the CRJ sim course, both the classroom and sim portion. Awesome guy. Ask him who "Mike Jones" is sometime.

Yeah, the majority of the check pilots have been here a loooong time. Sad thing is, their probably making more with better QoL than beginning years at a regional right now.

I didn't doubt that one bit. IP and Bruno wouldn't be there if it weren't the case. A guy teaching hundreds of kids yearly just about everything they need to know about a CRJ-200, what airline wouldn't want him?

So does Singh still instruct the CRJ course?

If he does that would be kickass if I could get him for that!

He used to be THE most bitter guy there, he had quite a reputation. Luckily I caught him on a good day, the day we did the oral he let me plan the flight out and what approaches I was going to do the next day.

He asked my friend some questions on the instrument (private level) oral that my friends father (US Air check airman) had to dig for. Would you believe one of the questions dealt with holdover times? WTF? As a private? YGTBSM...
