I have a bunch of random pics from the RJ in both the 2005 and 2006 galleries here. Sorry, I'm too lazy to post them here and Mario Kart Double Dash is calling. Out of curiosity, why do you only want to see pics from CRJ guys?

i'm just a big fan of the crj over the erj..thats all! thanks for the links..good stuff..any other pics?

Also I have heard the climb rate in the CRJ is pretty anemic..is this true? What kind of N1 are you guys pushing during the climb?

The CRJ will climb ok through 18000 on a cool day lightly loaded. Above that it can get a little sketchy. N1 depends on a whole bunch of stuff so a number wouldn't really be very useful, but it is around 92-96 depending on altitude.

So...cold out, light load, under FL180.........basically an empty Repo flight in the middle of winter of less then 200 miles!

The 700 will climb much better, if it's empty you'd better start thinking about a level off about 1000' early. I still can't get used to the control feel on that thing, oh well.

Ethan, you sitting hot reserve? We don't have SNES in CLT.

Nope.... I'm off today. My roomie REQUESTED hot reserve so he could be off in time for the festivities tonight. This month has been sort of slow though. And besides.... the SNES doesn't have many great games. I've been playing a whole lot of Gamecube at home though. Mario Kart baby!

It's funny taking off with an empty airplane. I dunno if heavier transportation cat. aircraft are like this too, but there is a huge difference between a 39k t/o and a 49k t/o.

Don't you think about leveling off 1000' early all the time?

...if there was ever a jet that should have been a turbo-prop.

I'll rephrase for clarification: You'd better start reducing power and pitching forward 1000' early so the aircraft will not exceed 250 knots (that's the speed limit below 10,000') or you will not blow past your assigned altitude by more than 200'. ATC doesn't like that. In the 200, even if you're light you can wait a little longer.

You can wait to reduce power and start your pitch forward, but it's going to be a fun ride and your captain might get very excited. I wouldn't know by experience or anything.

What kind of pics do you want? I've been flying the CRJ-1/2/7/9 for 5+ years.

I'm on the CR7 this week. I'll snap a few with the phone and the digicam. Think I even brought my USB cable, so I'll see what I can do for ya.

I'll try to get the gear for ya today. We have tight turns, but I should be able to get something for ya.

Here are a few on the "new" laptop. I have hundreds on the old laptop at home.
