Well, yea but he might still remember the right contact people in HR. Either that or I could just pay ATP $100k and get hired at ASA with reduced mins...

Thanks John for starting this thread. It reminds me why I was upset I could not make it to last year's event, And why I will be making it to this years event. Besides how else am I going to discuss me and you starting a new Socialist party.

Dude I'm down as soon as we get the constitution back in order and get some of those civil liberties back. Until then you might find me hanging out with the libertarians more than anybody else, then I can come back to my green roots!

Don't even get me started about civil liberties. I'm convinced pretty soon I'm going to have to ask permission to go to the bathroom.

There are no "outsiders" here on JC - we're all here for the same reasons.

When you hang out with JC'ers, you'll never have to worry about "fitting in". I've not met a cooler group of people in my life (my fellow Gunfighters in G-2/7 excepted).

In the summer of '05, I mentioned that I was going to be flying a Twin Comanche from New Mexico back to Nashville, and that if anybody in Texas wanted to get together with myself and one of my students, I was game. We had a JC member open his home to a bunch of "internet friends", and he hosted a wonderful cook-out. I'm always amazed at how great these people can be.

I've been offered jobs, beds to sleep in, beer to drink, and lots of other things. I've done shots with JTrain, walked the streets of Vegas with Jep, drank beer with Seggy, and played slots with Mike D. Does it mean we're a "clique"?? Not at all - it means that we all made an effort to get out there and meet one another.

I can't say enough about the members here. They're simply awesome.

you know what i'd really like to see at this years NJC?

a few A&P guys... or a few of the ATC guys..Heck, we had a helo pilot last year (Chinook) and a few of JC Europe's guys that are attending JAA.. why not continue to extend to aviation "related"? I think it could be very beneficial for all around knowledge or what not.
