Default Allegiant Airlines Tour - Extremely Important!

I just sent a PM out to everyone on the Allegiant Airlines tour list.

I just found out that we need Social Security and Date of Birth for each person wanting to participate in the tour.

We have to have this information in to Allegiant by THURSDAY AFTERNOON.. which means we need everyone to get their information to MIKE, MPENGUIN1 by THURSDAY MORNING.

If you definitely want to go on this tour, get your SS# and DOB to Mpenguin1 ASAP to confirm your place. do not send this info to me, i don't need it...Mike does.

Sorry about the inconvenience... we just found this out, had we known earlier, we wouldn't be in such a !!!!

Thanks for your attention

Mike, when you get the confirmed names, send me the info so i can update my list. Thanks!

Is it just me, or does this make anyone else nervous?

it's actually pretty common...especially with this many people wanting to attend a behind the scenes tour...it's their "protection" effort since 9/11.

we just forgot that it might be needed and now that we received confirmation we're like "oh #####"....

In fact, all of the Tower/TRACON tours have always required SS & DOB or straight up passport only, so we would have been collecting for that too.

I can vouch for Mike, Mpenguin1... he wouldn't do anything with the numbers except provide them to Allegiant on Thursday.

If you'd rather send them to me, i can compile the list and give it to him on Thursday and then i'll verify with everyone that i've erased all information pertaining.

Its a thing to get a temp SIDA badge. I've had to do for other tours at other airports.

Are you sure this is not an airport thing where we might need to do this for the MGM tour as well?

I'm already SIDA approved on my company badge. Is this just to get to super special Allegiant SIDA approval?

I believe so....I'm pretty sure they'll have to give you a visitor's or temporary badge... plus, i'm thinking they want to check background history considering...

Kristie

That is exactly what the deal is. Allegiant needs to put together the list:
Number of people
Social Security #'s
DOB's

The Airport authority will then run a quick background check, when they are complete, they will then supply badges. Also, Allegiant needs to supply escorts, 1 Allegiant person for ever 5 of us, so, Allegiant needs to come with extra bodies to support our tour.

As for the MGM tour, they are on the other side of the airport, so, security should be much different

A huge THANKS to Pengy for setting the tour up. Though way too freaking early in the morning or should I say too late last night, it was a good time.
