Default just a thought...

I've been thinking about possibly bringing up our playstation (if we can use the tv set in the suite to hook up to) with our karaoke revolution & mic's and DDR mats...

anyone interested in doing that vs going out for karaoke or would you rather go out for karaoke?

anyone really good at DDR that wants to show off their stuff? our mats aren't attached to anything but we'd bring the padding we use underneath for them to sit on.

again, it's just a thought. I don't even know if we could even hook up without some type of AV unit from the hotel. but if there's enough interest, i could check into it.

Ya know, that sounds like a lot of fun actually. Might be a bit cheaper, too. Course we could always "casino crawl" afterwards.

Sounds like a good idea. Definetly would be cheaper. I wonder how the hotel would be about the noise, assuming it might get a little bit loud.

What fun would all the foolishness be if you couldn't drag complete strangers in to the madness?? I think most of the things that have made the NJC events of the past so hilarious is the random people that we've run into... JMHO.

I think we should definatly go out for kareoke. buncha weirdos out there that need to be gawked at (ie dirty old man and crazy mullet people in the casinos and sunk mullet guy at BNA etc)

plus it's that much more entertaining when strangers are around!

We have a "patio" suite... most likely, we'd see if we could get an extension cord (or bring one) and see if we can move hte TV outdoors.

Taylor, you're gonna get the quotable remarks, man, it's gonna happen!

My goal? Uh, to have a good time? Uh, to spend as little money as possible while having as much fun as possible?

I definitely wanna go clubbing, though. We tossed around the Studio 54 idea last year, I'd like to do something similar.

Pilots being able to meet the dress code of a club like that? LOL!! Good one.

Seriously though, a club would be fun but so would a pub/bar crawl. My tip to saving money in Vegas if you are going to drink is to start out at Fat Tuesday at the MGM Grand. Everclear jello shots are $1, or you can choose from frozen drinks such as "190 Octane." When drinks surpass the $10-15 each mark at clubs, I try not to have more than one there.

Well, if people don't want to go, it's all good. Tell ya what, Brett, we'll drag you over to the Fashion Center mall from the hotel and make you shop for clothes, although I am sure you've already got things that will meet the dress code. I believe it's simply no jeans, no sneakers.

And I agree with only having one or two drinks when they get pricey. Which is why I am so looking forward to the manager's reception every night at the hotel. Free liquor is the best kind, my friend!

Manager's reception is only monday thru friday tho - not the weekend!

I'm up for Studio 54, always am! just depends on how late we end up staying at 9FI and if everyone's properly attired (knowing that they're not going to be able to talk once in there).

Damn, whatever happened to the days, where guys spent more time worrying about getting drunk & getting laid, than going clothes shopping! Damn, the world is changing, HA!

LOL. Don't worry about me as far as clothes go, I'm not a professional pilot yet and I work in Hollywood with Hollywood types. After a year of being an instructor though, I bet I will still have the same year old clothes, then the next year... well yeah. That mall is cool. I went there last weekend and this part of the floor raised up and all of a sudden a bunch of runway models started modeling.. I like Vegas.
