I'm still stupidly confused on the weather here...cause i checked the weather for the weekend and friday is 91* and saturday is 93* but down to 65 at night? WTFO? What do i pack? Jeans and tshirt? shorts and a tanktop? a sweatshirt for night? AHHH I don't know how to deal with this...and the no humidity thing? still confused on that...19% vs 78% (there vs here) so...someone help me!

go with shorts/tshirt during the day, tshirt/light sweater/jeans at night (+ the dressy clothes for all the "outings")... knowing michigan weather, you'll be comfortable the entire time with 65 feeling close to 70 and 90 close to 70! hahaha ... but expect warm to hot during the day depending on whether your standing in the sun or not... don't worry - you'll love it! |

after traveling so often... i've learned that 2 carryons are perfect - esp for a weekend....if anything, she can buy a tshirt in vegas and wear that! hahaha lugging a lot of luggage around for any length of time is no fun! |

Got to the dentist this morning so now all my pre-Vegas commitments are DONE! Just got to pack up and head to the airport in the morning. Looks like a 7:53AM IAH-SFO flight on United followed by Ted to LAS arriving 12:09PM. (Unless I don't make it on that one ... then we'll try Ted arriving 1:10PM or Ted arriving 2:13PM ... gotta love hourly service.) Already listed for DL's CVG redeye Saturday night and it looks good for a first class seat so I can sleep off the party!! See y'all in VEGAS BABY!! |

Well, folks, I'm packing, and then I'm off to the airport. Gotta love the hot weather they're having in Vegas -- it means for light packing. Just a pair of shorts, a couple of t-shirts, a couple of nicer shirts for going out, one pair of khakis, and the accessories and other miscllaneous things, and I'm good to go! And there's your "metro" guide to packing, folks! |
