Karaoke?

For those that are interested, I think I MAY have found a karaoke bar 1 mile from the hotel (according to MapQuest, so take that with a grain of salt). It's a local place called Ellis Island, and it gets good reviews. They have CHEAP drinks (around $1.75 or so) and karaoke every night from 9 pm - 3 am. I might be able to talk them into letting me do "Informer," and I think we could get Doug to do his Carlton Banks impersonation on stage.

But it's going to require LOTS of alcohol.

Funniest thing was someone who handed me her REAL ID that said she was under 21. Then she said, whoops, that's the wrong one, and I said, try again some other night.

"No, I'm really 21."

So I said, so, should I hold on to this one and give it to the cops, then?

Well, bad news. The karaoke is in the lounge, so it's 21 and up. Just got off the phone with them. 'Course anyone that still wants to go that LOOKS older than 21 can play dumb. The whole "don't ask, don't tell" of the age world.
