I probably should have taken this information down... but oh well, better late than never! who all has text messaging on their cell phones? we found it fun and quite useful out in vegas especially when in the casino's since most have cell phone distractors or whachamacallems! Doug and I both have text & picture messaging but only my cell phone number is listed on "the list" (right now)... |

| Re: Text Messaging... Heh, I was going out with a student one time, set my cell on top of the airplane while I threw my junk in the back. Then strapped in and went flying. As we were taxiing back in, I said to my student "hey, there's a cell phone on the taxiway..." at the same time I realized I didn't have mine in my pocket. Whoops. Still worked though. Now making sure I didn't set anything up there or on the ground next to the plane is part of my preflight. |

Pretty embarassing when every CFI that was on freq. that day came up to me and asked me if I lost something, as ground spent about 10 minutes coordinating with ops truck to pick them off the taxi way...oh well..
