ok, I still have 30 people on (my) "wannabethere" list who have not yet registered at network.jetcareers.com If you now know that your going to make it to Network JC and have not yet registered, please help me out and do register for the event and grab your hotel room at Hawthorn. We have 20 rooms still left to fill, only 7 have registered their rooms thus far (including doug and myself) I only have MikeD, Kellwolf, JEP, TonyW (plus 5 buddies: Skibum, John H, Blee265, Flychicaga, Montanapilot), Ophir, H46Bubba, and Doug/Kristie as having their rooms reserved... If you have reserved your room and your not on the above list, please let me know. For the others who have registered with me (Mtsu, pilot602, bumblebee, ESF, JDflight, Philospherpilot & Maximillian_jenius), I need you to reserve your rooms and let me know when you do so I can confirm that they are in the correct "grouping". All of the hotel information is on network.jetcareers.com Those who still don't know yet - don't get worried - the cut off point is still August 24 for the rooms, but the sooner you register and let me know you will be able to make it, the easier it will be to make sure everyone has snacks/drinks readily available! |

Kristie, I tell myself every single day that I'm going to do it. And yet, here we are, with me having to be chastised. I'll get right on it. |

It's not just you two! hahaha it's just a friendly reminder (like when your bank calls to thank you for being a customer) not to forget or you'll lose the opportunity! |

Ok, I am 99.99% sure I am coming so I want to go ahead, reserve the room, and register. The only thing is I am not sure if I am bringing a guest. Will I be able to put the guests name in after a register when I find out if they can come in about a month?

I just called and used the group code and she said she didn't have that code. I'm going to try again in the morning, but figured I'd give a heads up.

And guys, to help Kristie out, even if you are not sure if you're going, reserve the room. You can always cancel later. That way the person that Kristie's dealing with at the hotel doesn't start to worry about the room block and start to think about releasing rooms!

[/ QUOTE ]that would really help me out because they could start unlocking rooms since they're not moving "fast enough"...after all, it is VEGAS and they do things differently there... plus, If I don't have those 30 rooms booked, Doug and I will probably have to pay an added $$$ to equal out the rooms vs catering final cost. Could end up being more expensive for us...in which case, we might have to charge $$ for next years event and we really don't want to have to do that...we'd like to keep it free, fun and friendly and esp relatively cheap rooms for you guys! |

Thanks for helping me out guys/gals!! We have 33 people (including spouse/gf/other) that have signed up so far....I'd definately like to see this get up to 50-100, I think we could easily do that and really make it a successful venture! If you think/know of something that you'd like to do/see/add or what not, please let me know... ideas are never turned away! |

Kristie I also signed up and got the rate code and have yet to reserve a room... I'm waiting to see if I can get my card balance down a bit before putting anything else on there; also still have yet to see if I will be able to stay overnight. Anyway I'm 99% sure I'll be flying there in style so if someone who drives to Vegas might be willing to make a quick trip to the airport (actually there might be a free shuttle from LAS... I'll check into that). Also the offer is still open to the socal people, if you can make your way to SNA I can provide transportation... it'd be nice to split the cost as many ways as possible, but if you can't I'm happy to foot the bill since I'll be going either way. Just buy me a beer or something when we get there .I'll see you people in Vegas, looking forward to it. |

$200 would barely cover my bar tab Friday night! I won't be going out for a long time to come. |

$200 doesn't go far in a weekend (or night, lol) of hardcore bar-hopping. |

I'm not really sure, actually! I know that about $60 of it was probably mine. Where the other $50 before tip came from? Had to be split between my three "friends".
