Default How to go about this situation from a network source from the past

I had 2 college professors / deans from a few years ago I used to email about once a month.l've been lazy, and would like to get back in thel oop with them.

How would I go about doing this? I feel this may not remember me, but I am pretty sure they might. I am thinking of firnig a email off to both of them, but not sure what to really say. Just would like to keep them as friends/person with experience/a person I can network or use as a reference.

I would just apologize for loosing touch, say you have been really busy, fill them in on what you have been doing - I am sure they will be delighted to hear from you!
