| Senior Member | I know a guy looking around at regionals. He lives in MHT. If he applied to CJ, what would his chances be of getting MHT, or something in the area? Thanks

| Slim but possible. MHT is usually senior but there is alot of movement with most upgrades on the 340 in a year so. With that most FOs are upgrading and losing MHT and trying to get back which frees up some space, although the list is at times long to get in there. I know of a few FOs who have been trying to either get MHT or PVD to no avail and one Captain who was an FO at MHT and lost it when he upgraded with no signs of getting back in the near future.

| Senior Member | Thanks...I'll pass it along. What's the best way for him to submit a resume?

| Junior Member | Go to airlineapps.com. You can email or fax the resume as well (email and fax numbers are on the colganair.com website careers page) but I think they'll require the airlineapps.com application anyway. |

| I wouldn't come to Colgan for a specific outstation base. It can close on you. As long as your friend has a few bases he wouldn't mind living at he should be ok. My roommate in training just got MHT as an FO and it took him 1 year. Getting a base as an FO really is all about timing. If you come in when there's movement you may get lucky and get it right away, if not you may be waiting a long time. When I got HPN it took me 3 months as an FO. Same base took the FO senior to me 9 months to get, and an FO junior to me got it right out of training. Shortly after I got HPN the company decided to take the Beech out of there and make it an all Saab base, so I lost it a few months after I got it. |

| What stinks for your friend too is now that he got MHT after a year he will probably hold it for 3 months and then upgrade and lose it again for another year +.
