| Just my .02...let an airline train you to fly a jet. I'd recommend not paying for that training... |

| hmmm.. im trainin at the aviator and i was thinkin, wat if i were to get my CFI rating done, give abt 100-150 hrs dual, and also get the jet standards training done. will that give me an edge over the other applicants? or am i better off doin my CFI CFII MEI and building up my twin time as i instruct here at the aviator, and then applyin to the regionals without the jet standards thing done??? or or, after im done with my trainin CFI (SE) i shd have abt 180hrs twin time (with out MEI). then head back to austin,TX and instruct there on single engine-G1000 to build time??(dont have to pay rent there) will that be better/quicker way to build up experience instructing in glass cockpit single engines rather than twin engines? just tryin to get info on all my alternatives available... any info/advice will be real helpful. thanks feras. |
