Default Anything, Anywhere, except Instructing

Literally what the title says, I'll be graduating from Embry in the next few months, and I'm hunting for a piloting job that will hire even with few hours (think about 200 hours). I have no preference on location, even to the point where I'll live out of a suitcase, or a backpack if there isn't room for a suitcase.

If anyone knows of such jobs, I don't even care if they're in the Arctic Circle, please post about them.

U.S.Army ! They will even pay for student loans off, and you can go get some trigger time and comeback and slide into many jobs.

Personally I did the Arctic thing after the Army . But most jobs in Alaska require at least basis FAR 135 VFR mins (500tt .....) Check out Frontier flying service based in Fairbanks, Ak . I know they have a Fo program PFT flying BE1900's then you will also have get to start flying Chieftains once you get the ATP mins and the money is much better then to. There are many 135 companies up there and many of them have SIC programs that let you build time up to pic mins and then take out on your own.
Good luck.

Might find a banner towing job. Maybe traffic watch.

Why are you against instructing?

And there are not alot of jobs, well livable jobs out there that hire with under 200tt. Try TSA.

I can't enter the military, I was too sick as a child.

And I've already tried instructing. Once was enough to make me realize that it was better for all parties if I didn't do instructing... (That and my students scared the living daylights out of me...)

As for banner towing or traffic watch, I have been looking out for jobs like those, but I can never seem to find them.

"about 200" hrs and "already tried instructing". Something doesn't add up here.

At Merrit Island (KCOI), the guy's name is Andy and he owns the 2 banner planes that ride Cocoa Beach. I met him once, seems like a good dude. I don't know if he's hiring or not

Also, check www.findapilot.com

Good Luck

Near Eugene right? I took a look at one of the companies and decided to look elsewhere for work..... be very careful of whom you work for.... 135, skydiving, etc. If they aren't looked upon well by the community that they are based in that is a good sign to stay the heck away.

Andy's a top bloke. English too!

I know he was looking at the end of January, and he gets pretty busy in the summer.
