San Antonio and South Texas JC'rs

We have an offer on the table to go and visit the SAT control tower for a tour. Their are some great people working up there so I know it would be a great experience! I would like to propose a possible date of Jan 19 a saturday and still 3 weeks out. If there are any others interested in this date let me know and I will try to set this up officially! It would also be a good opportunity to meet some fellow JC'rs! perhaps we could even extend this a little and have a little meet and greet before or after the tower visit.

I'm in...maybe. I am actually flying into SAT that afternoon around 2'ish from a trip to the ATL...

Good on you Tim, that's pretty cool. I do still owe you a SIM ride too!!!

Garrad I will let you know asap on the time given to us, hopefully you will be able to make it! I'll take you up on the sim ride, we need to head out to 5C1 again soon and do a little more flying too!

Nick, Tell Mike Congratulations! Looks like he made the right call, I hope there is no delay in getting his left seat back!

Well guys, bad news. I was told to stand-by and stay clear of the class C tower! Ok, actually due to "recent events" Our connection was told no tours at this time!

I will try again as soon as atc gives us clearance! Sorry!

You might have to PM me to enlighten me on "recent events." They might be unique simply to SAT.

Well, I didn't ask and he didn't tell. He just said no tours at this time due to recent events. I figure I would not press the issue, and hope that when it opens up again we can all go check it out!
