Have a 4 yr degree? You could get on with Suburban Av. at DUH as a CFI...We only have 2 right now (I believe).

LOL - a four year degree to teach. Ya'll must have quite a supply of well qualified applicants to demand a four year degree out of your CFI's .

Not sure if you want to give up your twotter time or not, but USA Jet might take you in their DA-20's. They like locals. 20 minute callout and all...

Yeah, it was renamed from 5G9 a while ago....Nobody (strangely) knows the story behind it.

Well, I am comitted to my current employer untill December of this year, so I cant accept a full time job (USA jet). I am trying to keep an open mind about the airlines, but I dont think they are for me (at least not regionals). For the regionals, id be taking a 50% pay cut. I'm more of a corporate/freight guy.

I walked in a resume at KDUH...twice. I called several times after that as well, no luck.

I know a training captain at USA jet and will definately be pulling that string in December...

Right now though im more looking for part time work (CFI, traffic watch, ferrying, etc).

Thanks though

Check out ATI PP. Living near or in TOL you would have an outstanding QOL. We are in a bit of a tizzy with management and negotiations now, but once the dust settles, should be hiring and upgrading again for a awhile.

The story behind DUH... Everything that looked similar to suburban was taken, so on the list of id's, Tom spotted DUH and thought it was funny. "Where's the best place for flight instruction... DUH!"

9AT do I know you? I instructed there for about a year.

Just an FYI, my sim partner flew freight in commanders and then worked at USA Jet. He quit after a few months and now flies for a regional. He said it wasn't the working conditions so much, he just didn't fly all that much. Upgrade was quick if you flew, but at the rate he was going he was looking at a few years, even with 2500 TT.

With how good that gig is, they can require a 4 year degree. They pay better than a lot of regionals and it's salary.

(I got a call for an interview like 2 days after I got my current gig)
