[/ QUOTE ] Notice they didn't say how much it will COST to do this. I thought they were talking about aircraft and C3 bunkers, like the ones around the old Sembach base... Hey, I'm all for good golf courses, but that's what the MWR fund is for. Or at least that was the justification for why my golf fees went up a few years ago when I was in... |

| Re: you\'ve gotta be freaking kidding me........PORK! Sickening! I know some boys out in the desert right now who could use tents without holes in this heat. No golf for the working guy. This thread reminds me of the summer of '97 when they were builing a THIRD golf course at Andrews AFB, but we were stationed there sleeping in a hanger for alert, because they didn't have enough money to build us an actual alert facility.  |
