Default Seasoning

I've read references to a military pilot's "seasoning" days. What exactly does that mean? I've an idea, but I want to hear from it the pros. Thanks.

Default Re: Seasoning

Once you are done with training in the jet you'll fly, you go back to your unit and are on full-time to build your hours and experience. Last I read (from 2007) was that fighters have 120 days and heavies have 90.

(I'm not a "pro", but I'm working my way there.)

BTW -- Info from here: http://www.flyingsquadron.com/forums...showtopic=9031
