|  Carrier on PBS (April 27-May 1) I saw a preview of this when I was at Wally World looking at LCD/HDTVs. They show the the ups and downs of being on a six month deployment. The film crew spent all six months on the USS Nimitz,from the day it left to the day it pulled back into San Diego. I was actually surprised they show a sailor going through an Article 15 (Non-Juditial Punishment)! For those that are interested in what the daily life is like on the boat, it looks pretty spot on. | Re: Carrier on PBS (April 27-May 1) Wow, did anyone watch the episode last night. The boat was in rough waters making it extremely challenging for the pilots to land. I have a whole new respect for the men and women aviators who land on these boats. Not that I didnt before but man was that intense to watch. I believe they called it pitch landing or something to that effect. "I need a drink after that" says one of the Marine pilots after he finished. No sh** I would need 10 drinks after that. Do the Marine aviators not get along with the Navy guys? I was getting the impression they dont. Great show. Its a must see.
