They can probably answer you questions to some degree since pretty mush all reserve pilots come from the active duty ranks when they get off active duty.

I flew H-3's active duty and C-9's in the reserve. Unless things have changed, the only way to get a Navy Reserve Helo pilot billet is to have flown them active-duty in the fleet first... Kevin
