| SOrry to hear it man. Stay safe out there! I think the army if feeling more of a crunch than the regionals. When in doubt, dig or berm; always use the dirt. Wait, that was for the tankers! Good luck and get home safe!

And dust quals - lot's of fun! I nearly pissed myself the first time I made a dust landing under the goggles! Know what's fun? Look under the goggles right before touchdown and see how much nothing there really is with the naked eye. | |

| I was at Taji the deployment before last so this is slightly dated information. Taji is the best kept secret in the triangle; you would think the bad guys don't know it is there. Also, the highest ranking guy on the FOB is an O-6 so it is slightly more laid back then victory/liberty/speicher etc... The roads right outside the wire is a different story so be careful, but Im not kidding about that pool. Be safe, Matt

| I have logged over 80 hours since I have been here and that was in one month!! Its been fun so far flying Generals and Celebs around. A few sad missions for me on Christmas Eve but......It's my job. Just so you all know when I get back I am out of the service and going to a 141 flight school to get the rest of my ratings. I then want to get a job with Airnet. I have been reading the forums on the company and going over the website. There are alot of Airnet guys on here so maybe when I get back you guys can put a word in for me. I will keep posting here now that I have a sat. link in my room for internet!! Take care and Happy New Year!!

| THEY HAVE POOLS?! Dude, I just got back from 15 months. You know the deal. I think Taji is bigger now. I did the North thing for the entire deployment. You know Mosul, Tikrit, Bayji, Samarra. 6,000 Miles on my M1114. I heard a rumor that Anaconda had a pool but I was there for 3 weeks during the winter when the whole place was under 6 inches of mud. That sucked. Stay safe.
