I was just reading the USAFA cadet vs. 333rd Maj. thread and it got me curious about how many JC'ers out there are USAFA cadets or alums. As for me, I was in '98. Started as a Knight of Thirt, and finished as a Ragin' Bull. Majored in Aero, and was on the fencing team.

I probably shouldn't budge in, but I grew up in the springs and we sponsored many cadets. I had always wanted to go to the academy and wanted some insider tips from some real cadets. Instead I ended up with a lot of good friends. I was going through the application process and found out that I had a color deficiency that would prevent me from becoming a USAF pilot. So 3 years later here I am, up at UND with my first class medical training as a CFII. Fish, the cadets I know graduated from 2000 and on, so you probably wouldn't know them.

| No, the only thing that is different is that your Date Entered Military Service is when you started at USAFA. The potentially changes the retirement plan you are on, but your years of service are from commissioning.
