| Re: Ever wonder what it\'s like in a F-18? Chunk, did you ever fly during some of the air demos the air groups did during deployment? I always loved those. Never got over the geek factor. On one of our deployments, they must have done a half dozen of them for foreign officials. They always did a flyover from behind the audience while everyone was watching something happening in front of them. It was so fun to see everyone jump as the F18 went screaming overhead at fairly low level. No one ever got to see all of the "Cazy cool" things we did in the engineroom... Oh wait, nevermind. There weren't any.  |

That guy with the blue shrit looks like the host of History Channels Tactical to Practical, he used to be a F-18 pilot. I wonder if during one of their shows they got him back into the cockpit. |

Or do I have him confused w/ someone else? [/ QUOTE ] No I think you have him right just confused on what he does. His name is Hunter Ellis and he's a former Navy F18 pilot. He hosts the Tactical to Practical show on the History channel and this footage I beleive is from episode 4 when he does some flying with the Blue Angels as they train. I've done some looking on the History Channel page for this info. |
