|  ORDERS ARE IN
It's official I've been ordered to Active Duty starting Sept. 12th. untill the Army sees fit to release me. I'm going to Ali Al Salem Airbase in Kuwait for what should be a three hour cruise ... I mean a six month tour. I'll be flying a C-12 ( BE-200 ) through out the region, and up through Europe . It will be great flight experience ... I'll do my best to post some good / interesting pictures. Mid tour we will be recieving upgraded C-12s with Chaff and Flares ( counter measures ), but still no offensive stuff ... save my 9mm. I will be hosting the first international Jet Careers symposium sometime around the holidays so stop by your local recruiter for directions. Jim |

Thanks all ... Mike I have no plans to remain sane ... to do so would make the deployment unbearable. I figure crazy is the best way to handle it ... I might even start cross dressing ala Klinger style. Started the deployment process today ... alot of morbid questions had to be answered. Who do you want to receive your remains ... Where do you want to be buried ... Any special internment requests ... How do you want your insurance split up ... Who shouldn't be notified if you are deceased ... Who should be notified ... Execute a Will Execute a power of attorney for 24 mos. ( Wait I thought I was only going for 6 mos. ) Tomorrow's the physical ... ah #### not again ... ( see thread about being 15 again.) I hope they "buy off" on my fresh flight physical. I'll let you all know about the process as it goes. Jim |
