Shoot it is hard enough for me to get a ride on other platforms, and I'm on flight orders to begin with. You might get lucky somewhere. Good luck |

[/ QUOTE ] A 14 year old (or his parents) could sue the piss out of the government if the pilot had to eject and you get a spinal injury |

Is it true that in your whole life you can only eject like 2-3 times before you can't fly anymore?

Not exactly near AUS, but: Warbird Adventures. My mom did it once, and she has a video from cameras located on the wingtips and in the cockpit.

Depends on how old you are. If you're under 18, join Civil Air Patrol and sign up for the Air Education and Training Command Familiarization Course--it's a summer activity that's basically a weeklong survey of USAF pilot training. The honor graduates usually get a ride in T-1s or T-37s, in addition to sim rides that everyone usually gets. The activity is held at Columbus and Laughlin AFBs, neither of which have T-6s yet. Here's the web page for AETCFC/Columbus: http://www.aetcfc-ms.com/main.html |

I'm confused. Are we talking the North American T-6 Texan here or the Ratheyon T-6A Texan II? (an act of blasphemy to use that name, IMO)
