obligatory post-seperation long hair

So I seperate soon. I really want to try and grow a mullet just for one hockey season. I won't have any business in front as it has all retreated to my back. I'll have plenty of party in back though.

My problem is this, How to go from very very short military style hair to the mullet. I have been letting it grow for 3 weeks and it feels so shaggy on the sides right now. I used to cut my own hair sometimes but I suppose that will have to stop now that I will have some hair.

Any suggestions on going from short hair to long. This transition period is pretty tough.

just grow some long ass chops, or a beard. It is hard to grow your sides out after being in the militrary, at least for me it is. It just feels, and appears to look so ######

I tried, I really tries to grow my hari out.

After 6 weeks I broke down and got a hair cut.

The part I couldn't stand was the hair over my ears.

Well, I think I am abandoning the mullet plan. I haven't gotten a haircut in a few weeks and it is driving me crazy!

Plus, My wife and I went out of town this weekend. She must have conspired to cause this but I'd guess we saw around 15 mullets. All on the biggest dorks you've ever seen. Just don't think I can pull it off. I may try the chops idea though...

Yes thanks. I tell you what though. It is a big change. I haven't been sleeping very well.

Um, this is generally known as The Gallagher and is more effective than condoms as a method of birth control.

According to most chicks, you're better off sticking with The Jean-Luc Picard.
