I noticed you posted that you had been offered a Check Airman position on a MD-80, I'm looking into Lion and I realize they are cheap, but they MIGHT suit my situation, I have a bunch of cash in the bank and a house that's just about paid off (Thailand), so I have no "real" expenses, that being said, since I made my money flying in the Alaska bush I have a bunch of 1900 time and a bunch of 207 time, not helpful in getting a Captains 737 seat, but I wouldn't mind paying for a type and going to another place overseas to anyone who would have me just to get the time in type and move on to bigger and better things immediately afterwards. Any chance you could point me to someone at Lion that might be able to help me out with this? I know exactly what you mean about being cheap though, company I resigned from recently went down that track after a recent merger and totaled 3 planes in a week.
